Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy explains when returns and refunds are available for orders from Gods Son Designs LLC ("GODSSON Designs," "GSD," "I," "we," "us," or "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service, Purchase Options Cancellation Policy, and Shipping Policy. Please read it before ordering.

Group buy, made-to-order, and clearance items are final sale

Most of our products are group buys (pre-orders), manufactured to order in limited runs after the group buy closes. Group buy, made-to-order, and clearance items are final sale and are excluded from returns. Cancellation of a group buy order before it enters production is governed by our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy (a 20% cancellation fee applies, and orders cannot be canceled once in production).

The final sale rule does not remove your protection if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, or if a group buy is canceled by us — see below.

Returns (in-stock items)

For items sold as in-stock and eligible for return, returns are accepted for new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or store credit. Returns that don't meet this policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the original shipping address. The customer is responsible for return shipping, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We are not currently offering exchanges. Due to the nature of the products, opened switches, lubricants, and used or assembled items are not eligible for return.

Damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items

All dead-on-arrival (DOA), damaged, missing, or wrong-item claims must be reported to us within 72 hours of delivery. Email support@godsson-designs.co with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos (and/or video) of the item, the defect or damage, and the shipping packaging.

If we confirm the issue, we will, at our discretion and subject to availability, repair, replace, or refund the affected item. Because group buys are limited runs, a replacement may not always be available; in that case we'll refund the affected item. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable warranty rights you have under applicable law.

What is not covered

  • Minor production variances. Limited-run manufacturing can produce minor differences in color, finish, tolerances, and acoustics. As noted in our Terms, renders, prototype photos, and color references are representations and may differ from final units. Minor variances are normal and are not considered defects.
  • Change of mind on final sale (group buy, made-to-order, clearance) items.
  • Damage caused after delivery, including from assembly, modification, soldering/desoldering, use of incompatible parts, drops, spills, or normal wear.
  • Claims reported outside the 72-hour window, except where a longer period is required by law or a written warranty applies.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit. We are not responsible for refunds to a prepaid card or a cancelled credit card no longer in your possession. We'll notify you when a refund is approved; processing time depends on your bank or card issuer. Shipping charges are non-refundable except where an item was damaged, defective, or incorrect, or where a refund is required by law. If a return incurs return or duty fees, those are deducted from the refund.

If a group buy is canceled by us

If a group buy does not meet its minimum order quantity, or we cancel it before production, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid for that item.

Before opening a payment dispute

If something's wrong, please contact us first at support@godsson-designs.co. Group buys are pre-orders with disclosed extended timelines, and most issues — including expected production delays we've already communicated — are resolved quickly and directly. Opening a chargeback for a delay consistent with the terms you agreed to at checkout, without contacting us first, is handled under our Terms of Service.
